Quasar Networks was a simple idea formed due to a musician’s obstacles in Aurora, IL. From the first note struck in the city’s dull streets, we set out to nurture a community, to amplify the voices of tomorrow's musicians, and to create a stage where sound and spirit could collide.
What began as a spark in the soul of a city that has now blossomed into a living, breathing movement. Today, we are more than just a couple of musicans. We are curators, visionaries, and storytellers, committed to weaving the raw energy of music into every experience. Through curated shows, intimate gatherings, and unique collaborations, we bring the beauty of live performances to life.
But our work doesn't stop there. With the lens of an artist and the ear of a listener, we capture music in its most elemental form—through the art of audio and video. Our recordings are more than just media and sounds—they are moments, memories, and a part of something much larger: a journey of creative expression.
Here in Aurora, where music never stops playing, we remain devoted to celebrating the artists, the innovators, and the dreamers who turn music into magic in hopes to soon distribute those voices further for the whole world to see. FOUNDING
Gustavo Flores(Tiwa Bleu) is an artist, producer, jazz instrumentalist, all round percussionist, and the founder of Quasar Networks. From his late childhood to teen years, he has studied to understand the craft of drumming and percussion playing, soon catching interest in jazz at the age of 13. His deep diving into music throughout high school led him to be inspired by the works of Bobby Hutcherson, Wayne Shorter, Cal Tjader, and Sun Ra; alongside composers from Italian film music libraries such as Piero Piccioni, Piero Umilliani, Alessandro Alessandroni, and Nora Orlandi. Although Tiwa's roots reside in jazz, he's also participated in rock and and R&B settings such as the rock band Vacants and solo artists FELTWELL and Nico Nico.
In 2022 Tiwa formed an outlet for traditional jazz, acid jazz, and neo soul: The Luxure Trio. Throughout this year is when the idea for Quasar Networks had sparked. After meeting more jazz instrumentalists along the way, Tiwa has had the opportunity to add more textures to his project, giving birth to his full band and more creative outlets. Apart from that, meeting more passionate musicians gave him the hope needed to taking this movement off the ground.
